Recently the Diamondbacks have shown interest and are apparently close to trading for Mark Teixeira (who I'm already dubbing either Marky Mark, or Mark Texierxrexar). Seriously, what is up with his last name? Sorry to get sidetracked here, but how can your last name start with "Teix"? Anyways, I hope that the D-backs can pull of this trade somehow. Rumors are that the trade will involve perennial double play threat Chad Tracy and another player. Lets hope its Micah Owings. Speaking of Owings, how do you give up 8 runs to the Padres? It was like he was Clay Counsil and the Padres put 9 Josh Hamiltons in the lineup last night. Although I'm sure if they do trade Owings he will end up winning 18 games next year (see Chris Capuano), or lead the league in home runs (see Dan Uggla and Carlos Quentin).
