D'backs add Strikeout Machine

The D'backs, in a move that is still blowing my mind, just acquired outfielder Adam Dunn from the Cincinnati Reds for 3 prospects. It seems they didn't give up any of their best prospects (see Max Scherzer), but the move is still confusing. Don't they have enough high strikeout guys on their team? Mark Reynolds strikes out from the dugout on a regular basis, and Chris Young just yells "K!" from the lockeroom every now and then he's so strikeout-prone. Its ridiculous. Dunn can provide some pop, no doubt about that, but I feel he's just a slightly more polished version of Mark Reynolds, whom the D'backs already employ.
