After pitching 7 solid innings and striking out 13 on Friday night, Randy Johnson (pictured above practicing his bird-decimating technique) left it up to the Diamondbacks bullpen to finish off the floundering Florida Marlins. It's a shame newcomer John Rauch has joined Brandon Lyon, Tony Pena, Chad Qualls and Juan Cruz in the list of "Unreliable Relievers". Rauch came in and quickly gave up 2 runs to the Marlins, therefore sealing defeat for the Diamondbacks, who lost out on the chance go up 3 games on the suddenly dreadful Dodgers. I wish I had a solution in mind for the ailing bullpen, maybe just buy a dartboard and pick who goes in that way each game? That seems like as good an idea as any at this point.
