When I posted earlier that the U.S. should injure Ginobili, I didn't actually mean it. I just wanted them to make sure that he never played basketball or walked, every again. Well, the U.S. Olympic team came dangerously close to doing that during a 101-81 win over Argentina at some ungodly hour Friday morning. Not only did they win convincingly, but Emanuel Ginobili injured his ankle during the first quarter of the game. Wait, Ginobili was out most of the game and they only won by 20? This must be a mistake. I was about to praise the team, but now I think a good scathing is in order. Anyways, the U.S. plays against Spain in the gold medal game sometime on Sunday. If history is any indicator, the game will be played at about 3:45 pacific time, then aired about 36 hours later.
