Dodgers win the NL West

After the Diamondbacks 12-3 loss on Thursday, the Dodgers had officially clinched the National League West crown, their first since 2004. Without a doubt, the Dodgers owe their division title to Manny Ramirez, and him alone. The Dodgers were lifeless and barely above water before he arrived. As soon as he set foot on Los Angeles soil, the Dodgers were revived and never looked back. The sweep of the D'backs in LA basically won them the division, as did the many problems Arizona has faced. Whether it was a shoddy bullpen, poor fielding or cold bats, the Diamondbacks could not stop shooting themselves in the foot. There will definitely be some changes next year for the D'backs, who stand to lose some major pieces (i.e. Orlando Hudson, Brandon Lyon, and possibly Randy Johnson). Maybe the D'backs would have had a shot at winning the division if they hadn't blown 32 FREAKIN' SAVES this year!
