K-Rod is gonna get paid

Frankie “K-Rod” Rodriguez set the single-season saves record (58) on Saturday against the lowly Mariners. This dude is going to be so rich after the season it’s not even funny. Even though most of the big market teams already have dedicated closers (Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers) I’m sure a team like the Mets will find a way to overpay for him. The bigger story here is that Rodriguez actually has more saves than Mariners have wins. Take THAT, Pacific Northwest.
