
In a story that has been being going around the last few days, Suns forward Amare Stoudemire has been practicing pretty hard during the off-season. According to the story by the
"He is talking about and working on his defense. He declares his passion for the game to be at an all-time high, bringing him to the court morning and night most weekdays. He is raving about his new coach, Terry Porter, and teammates.
Coming off a very disappointing season, this is good news for the Suns. The story also goes on to mention that Stoudemire has no qualms about his surgically repaired knees and is shooting hundreds of jumpers a day from what he calls “kill zones.” I’m a realist, I know the Suns probably aren’t title contenders this year, but if we can somehow beat the Lakers, Spurs or Hornets in a 7-game series, I’ll consider this year a success.
