Although not as bad as another Arizona team, (who shall remain nameless, and winless (burn!)) the Arizona Wildcats lost to New Mexico 36-28 on Saturday. Head coach Mike Stoops was quoted as saying something to the tune of “Yah, so I didn’t want to bother waiting until the end of the season to get fired, and I thought this would be the best way to speed up the process.” I do have to give the ‘Cats some credit though, at least they didn’t get beat by a team that hasn’t won a road game in about 30 years.
