Webb finishes season 22-7

Even though the Diamondbacks won on Saturday 6-4 over the Rockies, Brandon Webb missed out on getting his 23rd victory. Webb finished the season at 22-7 with an ERA of 3.24. He will lead the league (by far) in victories but probably will lose out on the Cy Young award to Tim Lincecum, who has a lower ERA, more strikeouts, and a lower WHIP. Over the past month and a half all the good the D'backs did during the first part of the season was wiped out. Instead of a Cy Young winner and a division title, the D'backs are left with no division crown, and the world leader in strikeouts. Congrats, Mark Reynolds, you're gonna be in Guiness!
