In a change of pace, ESPN has decided to cover Arizona Sports the past week. Why you ask? No, it's not because of the Cardinals or Sun Devils stellar play. Oh, no. It's the teams they're playing against. Yep, if the Cards weren't playing the Cowboys and Arizona State wasn't playing USC we would never hear about them. Phew, I thought ESPN had actually turned a corner. But no, they're still just obsessed with teams like USC, Notre Dame, the Cowboys, the Lakers, the Yankees and the Red Sox. Thank goodness, I was worried for a minute, I'm not sure how to act in a market that is actually relevant in the sports world. I'd have to buy a hat with a feather in it or something, or maybe just walk around with a boa constrictor on my neck.
