Suns start preseason 1-1

The Terry Porter era has started for the Phoenix Suns, and it hasn't been too bad. The Suns are 1-1 in their first two preseason games, both of which did not feature Amare Stoudemire or Leandro Barbosa. Shaq has looked surprisingly agile in the first two games, scoring 20 points in the Suns first game.

It will definitely be interesting to see how the Suns adapt to the new system, but if you think they are going to win the west, you are crazy. The Western Conference is so ridiculously stacked this year that the Suns may be lucky to even make the playoffs. Furthermore, Steve Nash (pictured above headbutting a Hawks player into the third row) is on a downward slant, and has been the Suns' MVP the past four years. It is disappointing that the Suns weren't able to capture a championship during the D'antoni era, but at least we get to crack jokes about Robin Lopez's awful haircut.
