I'm sure he's worth it

Recently, the Golden State Warriors signed forward Andris Biedrins to a ridiculous 6 year, $62 million contract. This follows the overpaying of other mediocre players like Andrew Bogut (5 years, $72.5 million) and Monta Ellis (6 years, $66 million). Why are teams throwing crazy money at middle of the line players? Biedrins (pictured above sitting on the bench, which he'll be doing alot of this year) averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds last year in 27 minutes a game, is that really worth 10 million a year? Oh, and I'm sure he'll continue to scrap and claw for every loose ball now that he makes as much as the entire Twins payroll (just like Boris Diaw did). Look for him to gain 15 pounds this off-season and fake an oblique injury.
