The New York Yankees just traded relief pitcher/linebacker Kyle Farnsworth for Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez. I have no real problem with this, considering that Pudge is in the last year of his contract. My only beef is that the Yankees continue to add older veterans to their roster and think that will finally put them over the top. Last time I checked, the Yanks have lost 3 years in a row in the first round of the playoffs to teams younger and less experienced than them. Maybe its time to actually use that farm system, which you started to do with Cano and Chamberlain and Cabrera, instead of finding the highest priced free agent and throwing so much money at him the Joker would be jealous. By the way, nice move getting Farnsworth off the team, while I was writing this he knocked out three clubhouse attendancts and headbutted a horse.
