TGISports weekend highlights

Enough with this douchebag - David Beckham is constantly in the news, despite almost never playing soccer. The latest news is because he refuses to play in the U.S. or something, but then he came back to play. The one thing I DO know is that if I never hear the words "Posh and Becks" again, I'll be a happy young man.

T.O. to the Bills - In "He went to WHAT team" news, noted pill popper Terrell Owens signed with the Buffalo Bills this weekend. This should give a major boost to one team that managed to be LESS relevant than the Cardinals, before this year of course (boo ya!).

Arizona finally wins - the University of Arizona beat Stanford on Saturday night to finish 9-9 in the Pac-10 and 19-12 overall. Despite losing 4 of their last five games, Arizona will still probably make the NCAA tournament. They can send their thanks to Maryland and Kentucky, both of whom had terrible losses on Saturday. Actually, to be honest, I bet the NCAA would find a way to put the Wildcats in the tournament no matter how many damn games they lost (and find a way to keep ASU out of the tournament as well).
