D'backs win, Manny is a speedster

The Diamondbacks just finished their second consecutive 2-1 victory over the Dodgers, who had Manny Ramirez (pictured above preparing for a Roman Colosseum battle apparently) for the first time. There was nothing spectacular about Manny's debut, unless you count the two infield singles (the first two of his career) and his Taylor Made double play ball in the 9th. Wasn't this the guy who wouldn't even run out a ground ball in a no hitter situation just a few days ago? It was a great move by the Dodgers to get him, but it won't matter. You need to have at least one other person in the lineup who is consistent so teams don't just walk him (no offense Andrew Jones aka Faizon Love). Five bucks says it will still be an uphill battle for them to break 3 runs.
