The United States Olympic basketball team finally kicks off its schedule in about 6 hours against China (10am ET). What a way to start their schedule; not only are they playing the host nation, but get to play against 3 of my personal heroes: Yao Ming, Yi Jianlian, and Wang Zhizhi. Hopefully the U.S. sets a tone for these Olympics, a tone like "Shock and Aw" a name which just popped in to my head, all of my own volition. Anyways, beating the Chinese like a four year old in Kmart would be a great way to open up the first round of games, and make sure everyone knows we are here for the Gold.
