Get it together, NBC

So the 2008 Olympics have been going on for about a week now, and everyone seems to be enjoying them (myself included). But there is one huge problem that I've noticed and no one else seems to be pointing out; the damn games aren't live. I don't care what the graphic on NBC says, they aren't. I was driving home last night about 10pm pacific time and already heard the dreadful Amy Lawrence giving her commentary about the games on ESPN radio. She was talking about how great it is that Michael Phelps already has 5 gold medals and how he may be the most dominant blah blah blah. So I get home and turn on NBC and there's Phelps, just starting a race that has been over for 3 hours. Not only that, NBC has a big "LIVE" graphic in the corner of the screen. Look, delaying the games for some ridiculous reason is one thing, but don't feed me this crap saying they are live. I purposely got up at five am the other day to watch the basketball game vs. Angola only to realize it was delayed for 3 hours. Isn't it 2008? Don't we have some pretty damn good technology? Then why can't we broadcast a game live, is that too much to ask?
