Yesterday, the NBA released their schedule for the 2008-2009 season and its a bit peculiar. The Suns who lost in the first round in 5 games last year, for some reason have the max amount of games on national TV (25) this year, including an opening night on the road in San Antonio, as well as Christmas day against those same Spurs, this time in Phoenix. Now, before I say anything else, I'm the biggest Suns fan you will find and I would never root for any other team. But I'm also honest, and the Suns stink. They got their asses beat by San Antonio last year, even though they had a 30 point lead in every game. The Hornets ran circles around them last year, and they barely belonged on the same court as the Lakers. If this were 2 years ago or even a year ago, I would expect nothing less than for the Suns to have the max amount of games on national TV. Maybe instead of watching Shaq (pictured above rupturing his spleen) waddle down the court 25 times, they should show us Chris Paul or Greg Oden.
